The Malawi Washington Association is proud to announce a series of activities and events to promote the interest of Malawians in the United States and Canada, which will are part of the the celebration of Malawi’s Independence day (July 6).

As the highlight of our weekend’s celebrations, the Blow Out Party provides an opportunity to meet and socialize with fellow Malawians, friends of Malawi and other friends living in the United States and Canada. Be sure to bring your best dancing shoes – we will feature a variety of music, including Malawian music, Soukous, Hip-hop, Reggae, Zouk, Soca and other African music!

VENUE: Cabin John Regional Park, Group Picnic Area, 7701 Tuckerman Lane, Cabin John (Rockville), Maryland.
Please Note:This is a different venue from past years'

Relax and enjoy a fun-filled day at this private park. Side dishes and drinks will be provided. Bring your favorite meat to cook on the self-service grills.
